As so many people have had their say about the famous filmmakers, I try to avoid them. But, during Covid, producer John Archer asked if I might make a film about Alfred. I immediately thought of a way to do it – what would Hitchcock say, back from the dead, in the era of TikTok?  And then I got to work with the great Alistair McGowan, who played Hitch.
